HyFlex CM NiTi rotary files are manufactured using a unique controlled-memory process that makes them extremely flexible while reducing the shape memory of conventional NiTi files. The files closely follow canal anatomy, reducing the risk of ledging, transportation, or perforation, and respond to excessive resistance by straightening spirals to avoid binding and increase fracture resistance. The assortment includes one each of .04 taper 31mm #20, #25, #30, #40; .06 taper 31mm #20; and .08 taper 19mm #25, and the shape can be restored by heat treatment such as autoclaving.
