HyFlex CM NiTi rotary files feature controlled-memory technology, allowing the file to closely follow the canal anatomy and reduce the risk of ledging, transportation, or perforation. The files are extremely flexible without the shape memory of conventional NiTi files, and they respond to excessive resistance by straightening spirals to avoid binding and increase fracture resistance. Form adaptation can be reversed by heat treatment (autoclaving or glass bead sterilizer), returning the instruments to their original shape.
