The Directa Luxator is a periodontal ligament knife designed for atraumatic tooth extraction. Its fine tapered 3mm curved blade compresses the alveolar bone and cuts the periodontal membrane, allowing the tooth to be gently eased from its socket with minimal force and reduced trauma to surrounding bone and tissue. Made of fully sterilizable stainless steel with an ergonomic, color-coded handle (black stripes for the 3mm curved size), it is approximately 6-1/2" long and intended for general use.
