These dual species biological indicators contain both Geobacillus stearothermophilus and Bacillus atrophaeus spores, allowing verification of most sterilization processes including dry heat, steam, chemical vapor, and EO gas. Each blue glassine envelope is placed inside a product or package during processing, then aseptically cultured in soybean casein digest medium and incubated at the appropriate time and temperature. The indicators have a 2-year shelf life when stored as directed, and each lot ships with a Certificate of Performance detailing USP or ISO compliance.
