These dual-species biological indicator strips contain both Geobacillus stearothermophilus and Bacillus atrophaeus spores, making them suitable for monitoring a wide range of sterilization processes including steam, dry heat, chemical vapor, and ethylene oxide gas. Each strip is individually packaged in a blue glassine envelope for placement inside products or packages. After sterilization, the strip is aseptically transferred to soybean casein digest medium and incubated at the appropriate temperature and time. The indicators have a 2-year shelf life when stored as directed, and each lot is accompanied by a Certificate of Performance detailing lot-specific information and adherence to USP or ISO requirements.
