Knit-Pak is a non-impregnated, 100% cotton knitted gingival retraction cord designed for tissue displacement and hemostasis prior to taking impressions. Its unique interlocking chain structure carries greater quantities of hemostatic solution than twisted or braided cords, and it compacts under pressure for easy packing. The cord resists fraying and popping out of the sulcus, and if touched by a bur, it cuts clean without entangling. Each package contains 100 inches (254 cm) of cord, and the container features a stainless steel cutting blade in the cap to cut the cord cleanly and prevent cross-contamination.
