Look Chromic Gut Absorbable Sutures are sterile, absorbable sutures composed of purified collagen-based connective tissue derived from the submucosal fibrous layer of sheep intestines or the serosal layer of beef. Each suture is 27" (70 cm) long, size 4-0, and is supplied with a C-6 reverse cutting needle, 3/8 circle, 19 mm, in an undyed beige monofilament construction. Chromic gut sutures are indicated for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including oral and periodontal surgery, and have a resorption rate of approximately 10 to 15 days. Each box contains 12 sutures.
