Look Chromic Gut Sutures are sterile, absorbable surgical sutures composed of purified connective tissue derived from the submucosal fibrous layer of sheep intestines or the serosal layer of beef. Each 4-0 suture is 18" (45 cm) long and features a C3 precision reverse cutting needle (3/8 circle, 13 mm) for smooth passage through tissue with minimal trauma. Chromic gut is indicated for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, including oral and periodontal surgery, with a resorption rate of 10 to 15 days.
