Its fine tapered blade compresses the alveolar bone and cuts the periodontal ligament, gently easing the tooth from its socket with minimal tissue damage, less post-operative bleeding, and faster healing. Made of fully sterilizable stainless steel with a color-coded grey handle, it is intended for interproximal use and should not be used as an elevator.
