The LOOK PolySyn suture is a synthetic absorbable polyglycolic acid (PGA) braided suture with a proprietary low-friction coating that reduces tissue drag. It retains approximately 50% of its initial strength at 14 days and 20% at 21 days, with mass absorption essentially complete between 50 and 90 days. Each suture is 18 inches (45 cm) long, undyed, and swaged to a PC-31 precision reverse cutting needle (19 mm, 3/8 circle). Supplied in a box of 12.
