LOOK™ PolySyn™ is a synthetic absorbable braided suture made of polyglycolic acid (PGA) with a proprietary low-friction coating that reduces tissue drag. It retains approximately 50% of its initial strength at 14 days and 20% at 21 days, with essentially complete mass absorption between 50 and 90 days, providing reliable closure through the critical wound healing period. This 4-0 undyed braided suture is 27" (70 cm) long and supplied with a C-7 precision reverse-cutting needle (24 mm, 3/8 circle), packaged 12 per box; commonly used for skin closure, OB/Gyn, urology, and gastrointestinal procedures.
