Prevantics Maxi Swabsticks are prem moistened, ready-to-use skin antiseptic applicators containing 3.15% (w/v) chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) and 70% (v/v) isopropyl alcohol (IPA), the first FDA-approved CHG/IPA skin antiseptic. Each 3.25" x 8" swabstick delivers 5.1 mL of solution and covers a 7" x 7" area, featuring a unique two-sided applicator for prepping around joints, interdigital areas, and skin folds. Clinically proven to provide persistent antimicrobial activity for up to 7 days, they are indicated for pre-operative and pre-injection skin preparation and meet CDC and APIC skin antisepsis guidelines.
