Profluorid is a 5% sodium fluoride varnish designed for the treatment of hypersensitive teeth, sealing dentinal tubules, and as a cavity liner under amalgam restorations. It adheres well to moist surfaces, sets quickly in seconds, and provides high immediate fluoride release (22,600 ppm) to relieve hypersensitivity. The white, transparent varnish has enhanced flow characteristics to reach areas traditional varnishes may miss, contains xylitol, and is free from common allergens and artificial colorings.
