The Kerr OptiDisc Kit Refill provides extra-coarse discs for the OptiDisc finishing and polishing system, designed for use with the OptiDisc mandrel on a latch-type dental handpiece. These translucent discs are recommended for contouring, finishing, and high-gloss polishing of composites, glass ionomers, amalgams, and semiprecious/precious metals, with a patented mandrel that locks below the disc surface to protect restorations and adjacent tissue. The color-coded rubber center aids grit identification, and the discs are not RPM sensitive, offering consistent performance.
