The extra-fine grit provides a high-gloss polish on composites, glass ionomers, amalgams, and semiprecious and precious metals. The patented mandrel locks below the disc surface to protect restorations and adjacent tissue from scratches, and the color-coded yellow center indicates the extra-fine grit.
