Hu-Friedy Perma Sharp PGA (polyglycolic acid) absorbable sutures are designed for reliable soft tissue closure in dental surgical procedures. Each suture is 4-0, undyed, braided and coated, 27 inches long, with a C-6 reverse-cutting 3/8 circle needle (18.7 mm) made from a proprietary stainless steel alloy for sharper penetration and less breakage. PGA suture loses strength in approximately 14-21 days and is fully absorbed in 50-90 days. Supplied 12 per box.
