Hu-Friedy Perma Sharp® PGA (polyglycolic acid) absorbable sutures are designed for efficient and reliable soft tissue closure in dental surgical procedures. Each suture is 18 inches of undyed braided PGA with a C-1 premium reverse cutting 3/8 circle needle (10.7 mm) featuring a finer point geometry for smoother penetration and precise placement, plus a laser-drilled needle-to-suture transition that reduces tissue disruption and drag. PGA retains strength for approximately 14-21 days and is fully absorbed in 50-90 days. Supplied as 12 sutures per package.
