Its clear outer hood sits close to the patient's face to enhance scavenging efficiency of exhaled gases while allowing visual monitoring of breathing, and the soft inner hood improves seal and patient comfort. The double hood design minimizes ambient nitrous oxide in the operatory, and the low-profile, oval exhalation valve provides better access to the oral cavity and increased breathing comfort. It is latex-free and universally fits existing double tubing scavenging circuits.
