Product Description
Operative Tungsten Carbide burs are made from high-density, fine-grain carbides designed to provide optimal concentricity that results in a quicker and more precise cutting. The bur's concentricity is essential to ensure a rational alignment and consistent contact between the cutting edge and the cutting surface. The burs pride an exceptionally stable and functional construction that guarantees long service life with their patented welding process between the carbide head and the surgical-grade stainless steel shank, therefore reducing the risk of breakage. The Pear-Ended burs are ideally used for preparing converging walls and producing undercuts and circular interior line angles. They are also ideal for creating entry points and for splitting the roots of smaller teeth. The head of the burs, measuring 1. 2 mm in diameter and 2.2 mm in length, is welded to a Friction Grip Shank (FG) suitable for high-speed handpieces, delivering quick and efficient trimming without heat and pressure. They are fully sterilizable and autoclavable by 121°C/250°F for at least 20 minutes or by 134°C/273°F for at least 5 minutes.
