NTI Operative Carbide Burs, Non-Sterile, FG, Long Pear, # 245, 0.8 mm, 5/Pk, H245-FG
Product Description
The 2-Piece Operative Carbide prides a patented welded design consisting of a high-quality tungsten carbide head and a durable stainless steel shank after undergoing a micro-precise calibration to ensure concentric operation. The tungsten carbide material allows quick and efficient cutting through enamel, amalgam, metal, and composite while providing less vibration. The Long Pear-shaped Carbide Bur is ideally used for preparing converging walls and producing undercuts and circular interior line angles for taller teeth. It is also functional for contouring occlusal anatomy and amalgam removal. The head of the bur, measuring 0.8 mm in diameter and 2. 0 mm in length, is welded to a 19 mm Friction Grip Shank (FG) that fits into a high-speed handpiece, delivering quick and efficient trimming without heat and pressure. It is fully sterilizable and autoclavable by 121°C for 20 minutes or by 134°C for 5 minutes.
