HyFlex CM NiTi rotary files feature controlled-memory technology that allows the file to closely follow the natural anatomy of the root canal, reducing the risk of ledging, transportation, and perforation. Extremely flexible without the shape memory of conventional NiTi files, they respond to excessive resistance by straightening their spirals to avoid binding and increase fracture resistance. Their shape adaptation can be quickly reversed by heat treatment such as autoclaving or glass bead sterilization, returning the instruments to their original form.
