DiaPaste is a pre-mixed, iodoform-free calcium hydroxide and barium sulfate paste for root canal treatment, supplied as a 2.0 g syringe refill kit. The water-soluble, highly radiopaque and antibacterial formula requires no mixing, does not solidify or separate, and is easy to clean and remove. It is indicated for apexification, infected root canal treatment, temporary root filling and pulp capping, root canal filling for primary teeth, disinfection after pulp extirpation, and vital pulpotomy.
