DiaPex Plus is a premixed calcium hydroxide paste with iodoform used as a temporary root canal filling material and intracanal medicament. The iodoform addition improves radiopacity and provides antibacterial activity, while the calcium hydroxide stimulates hard tissue formation and apexification. It is indicated for apexification, apexogenesis, temporary root filling, treatment of traumatic injuries, root resorption, perforations, and underdeveloped pulpless teeth. The ready-to-use syringe eliminates mixing and allows quick, one-handed application with easy removal.
