HeliPlug is an absorbable collagen wound dressing made from purified bovine tendon, designed to control bleeding and protect extraction and biopsy sites. The soft, pliable, nonfriable sponge plugs are individually packaged in clamshells with easy-peel backing, and are absorbed by the body within 10 to 14 days after placement. Each box contains 10 sterile plugs, each measuring 3/8" x 3/4" (1cm x 2cm).
