The Directa Luxator Short Periotome Kit (SK4) is a set of four atraumatic extraction instruments with blades and shafts approximately 10 mm shorter than standard Luxator periotomes, improving access and control in tight posterior areas or for patients with limited mouth opening. The kit includes 2 mm straight (S2S), 3 mm straight (S3S), 3 mm curved (S3C), and 3 mm contra-angle (S3CA) periotomes plus an L10 sharpening tool, all featuring color-coded ergonomic handles for maximum tactility. The fine tapered blades cut the periodontal ligament and compress alveolar bone to ease the tooth from its socket with minimal trauma, helping preserve bone integrity for future implant placement. Note: these instruments are periotomes and should not be used as elevators.
