Whip Mix Mounting Plaster is an ISO Type 1 white gypsum plaster specially formulated for minimal setting expansion and a fast set time, making it ideal for mounting models to articulators. Its low compressive strength allows mounting plates to be cleaned easily, and it offers excellent stacking properties. Physical properties include a mixing ratio of 63 ml water to 100 g powder, 60-90 second working time, 3 minute setting time, 0.09% setting expansion, and compressive strength of 640 psi wet (1 hour) and 1,800 psi dry (48 hours). Supplied as a 33 lb (15 kg) carton; made in USA.
