Expasyl Gingival Retraction Paste is a viscous, rigid paste alternative to traditional retraction cord, used for all procedures requiring gingival retraction including impressions, restoration seating, rubber dam fitting, and cavity restoration. Its specially formulated viscosity opens the sulcus with very little pressure, reducing the risk of damaging the epithelial attachment while leaving the field dry and ready for impression taking, cementation, or digital scanning. The paste contains 15% aluminum chloride for hemostatic and astringent control of bleeding and crevicular seepage, and the Intro Kit includes 1 applicator gun, 6 x 1g unflavored capsules, and 12 curved applicator tips.
