Clinician's Choice G5 All-Purpose Desensitizer is an aqueous 5% glutaraldehyde and 35% HEMA solution used to eliminate and prevent post-operative dentinal hypersensitivity. It coagulates plasma proteins within the dentinal tubule fluid to form a plug that blocks fluid movement, while HEMA resin-reinforces the dentin for a durable desensitizing effect. It is indicated for Class I and II posterior composite restorations placed with 4th and 5th generation total-etch adhesives, under amalgam restorations, and for sensitivity under temporary crowns and bridges, and it does not adversely affect the bond strength of resin cement to dentin. Each unit is a single 10 mL bottle.
