Its 0.33 mm tip cuts a smooth, conservative groove in a single pass, preserving healthy tooth structure and often eliminating the need for anesthesia. The 0.7 mm head diameter and 2.5 mm head length are ideal for detecting narrow pits and fissures in adult molars, and the bur is autoclavable up to 121°C/250°F.
