The GC America EXA Advanced VPS Monophase Impression Material is a high-quality, normal-set, single-viscosity material designed to streamline the impression process. As a monophase material, it is used for both the tray and the wash, which simplifies the technique and reduces the potential for error between two different viscosity materials. This advanced product is a highly hydrophilic vinyl polysiloxane (VPS) material, engineered to flow uniformly, capture exceptional detail without voids, and deliver a consistently accurate final impression. The "normal set" formulation provides a comfortable working window of approximately two minutes, allowing ample time for manipulation and placement while reducing chair time. Its thixotropic properties ensure it remains stable until pressure is applied, preventing unwanted slumping. A key advantage is its superior tear strength and enhanced elastic recovery, ensuring the integrity of the final impression during removal. Furthermore, the material is dimensionally stable, so models can be poured accurately up to two weeks after the impression is taken.
