Calasept Plus is a ready-to-use, radio-opaque calcium hydroxide paste (>41%) supplied in airtight syringes for direct application through the autoclavable Flexi-Tip. The high calcium ion release produces a high pH (>12) and a long-lasting antimicrobial effect, while the airtight syringe design prevents air from converting the calcium hydroxide into inactive calcium carbonate. The 4U kit includes four 1.5 mL syringes and 20 Flexi-Tips, and is indicated for temporary root canal filling, pulp capping, pulp protection, insulation in deep cavities, and stepwise excavation.
