Prime-Dent Polycarboxylate Luting Cement Kit, Self-Cure is a biocompatible, self-curing luting cement indicated for final cementation of cast metal and metal-ceramic crowns, inlays, onlays, and fixed partial dentures. Its polyacrylic acid formulation chelates to calcium in dentin and enamel for mild chemical adhesion, and its initial acidic pH rises rapidly to neutrality during setting, reducing pulpal exposure and post-cementation sensitivity—making it the luting cement of choice for sensitive teeth and preparations with minimal remaining dentin. The set cement has a low film thickness of 13–18 microns and provides thermal insulation between the restoration and pulp. Each kit includes a 32g powder bottle, a 17.5mL liquid bottle, a measuring scoop, a spatula, a mixing pad, and an IFU.
