The BioSonic US200 Ultrasonic Scaler is a magnetostrictive, electrically powered scaling system for general supra- and subgingival scaling, routine prophylaxis, and periodontal therapy. It automatically detects and accepts both 25 kHz and 30 kHz BioSonic and competitor inserts, with Normal and Turbo modes selected via a two-stage foot switch and separate large dials for power and water flow. The base unit ships with a handpiece assembly, autoclavable sheath, two-stage foot switch, one BioSonic #10 Slim Supersoft 30 kHz insert, a 1/4" quick-connect water line with in-line filter, spare sheaths and filters, power cord, and user manual, and is backed by a two-year manufacturer's warranty.
