Dentaurum mini expansion screws are made of stainless steel with a cone-shaped expansion screw holder and a skeleton design. The screw bodies feature holes for better retention in acrylic, and built-in stops prevent the screws from coming apart. They are indicated for transverse expansion and distalization in the mandible or for especially narrow maxillae, and come with a straight, small standard expansion screw key.
