The Orthopli Step-Up and Step-Down Bending Plier is a chairside orthodontic instrument that places step bends in an archwire without removing the wire from the mouth. It creates both step-up and step-down bends intraorally with a simple squeeze, allowing brackets to be realigned up, down, in, or out while the archwire remains on the same plane. Available in 1/2mm, 3/4mm, and 1mm step sizes, it is recommended for round and rectangular wire up to .025" diameter and .021" x .028", and features extended right-angled beaks plus a hardened steel inserted tip for secure grip and long instrument life.
