Orabloc Articaine HCl 4% with Epinephrine 1:200,000 is an injectable local anesthetic for local, infiltrative, and conductive anesthesia in routine restorative, hygiene, periodontal, and other dental procedures in adults and pediatric patients 4 years and older. Articaine's thiophene ring chemistry provides enhanced tissue diffusion, allowing profound mandibular posterior anesthesia via buccal infiltration, while the 1:200,000 epinephrine concentration prolongs anesthesia with a lower epinephrine dose than the 1:100,000 formulation. Pierrel Pharma Orabloc is the only aseptically manufactured articaine formulation, with each 1.7 mL cartridge individually blister-sealed and color-coded blue, supplied 50 per pack.
