Collaflex is a resorbable collagen barrier membrane derived from purified porcine pericardium, designed to support guided bone and tissue regeneration in implant and periodontal surgery. The non-cross-linked membrane retains the natural microfibril structure of pericardium, providing extended barrier function while resorbing in approximately 6 months, and its 15 x 20 mm size suits small to moderate defects with minimal trimming. It hydrates quickly, conforms to irregular anatomy, and can be stabilized with sutures or tacks, making it suitable for extraction socket preservation, ridge augmentation, and implant site development.
