The Acu-Tip® Portable Cauterizing Instrument is a lightweight, cordless, battery-powered cauterizer designed for improved soft-tissue surgical care. It provides hemostasis, removes soft tissue and lesions, and trims gingiva before impressions. The self-contained unit quickly reaches 2,200°F (1,200°C) and operates for 35 to 40 continuous minutes on two AA batteries (included). The kit includes the cauterizer, four short tips, and two AA batteries; a variety of disposable tips are sold separately.
