Its smaller glass particles allow greater density for a smoother, glossier finish, while the harder material provides higher abrasion resistance and a longer-lasting, discoloration-free surface. It is indicated for Class III and Class V restorations, cervical erosions and abfraction lesions, root surface caries, and as a liner or base.
