PermaSeal is a light-cured, methacrylate-based, unfilled resin sealer with low viscosity for excellent penetration into voids and irregularities. It forms an ultrathin layer that minimizes occlusal adjustment, reduces microleakage at Class V composite margins, and helps prevent staining and wear. It bonds well to composite-type provisional restorations and can revitalize old composites; for a glaze finish on resin provisionals, cover with DeOx barrier solution before light curing.
