Monobond Etch & Prime is a single-component ceramic primer that combines etching and silanization in one clinical step for conditioning glass-ceramic bonding surfaces before adhesive cementation. It is designed for extraoral use on compatible glass-ceramic restorations, including lithium disilicate systems, and eliminates the need for separate hydrofluoric-acid etching and silane application. The application protocol involves agitating the material for 20 seconds, allowing a 40-second reaction, then rinsing with water and drying with air.
