Prelude Adhesive System is a water-based, light-cure dental adhesive featuring nanohybrid technology. It contains a proprietary methacryl phosphate and a hydrophilic monomer, with a pH of 1.7 and a 5-micron film thickness. It is indicated for bonding to dentin, enamel, porcelain, and metal, and can be used with all composites and compomers. When used alone, it serves as a superior total-etch adhesive, comparable to Optibond Solo Plus.
