Bio-LCB is a light-cured, radiopaque base and liner designed for use under composites, amalgams, cements, and other base materials, and can replace calcium hydroxide, glass ionomer, RMGI, and IRM/ZOE. Its proprietary UDMA-based, self-adhesive formulation bonds to dentin, releases calcium and phosphate ions, and becomes alkaline upon setting to provide an antimicrobial effect and promote dentin remineralization. The starter pack includes two 2 g syringes and eight application tips.
