CaviCide is a ready-to-use, intermediate-level surface disinfectant and decontaminant cleaner from Metrex Research, supplied in a 2.5 gallon bulk bottle for refilling spray bottles and dispensers. The dual-action formula combines 17.2% isopropanol with a quaternary ammonium compound to clean and disinfect hard, non-porous surfaces, killing TB in 3 minutes and HIV-1, HCV, HBV, MRSA, and VRE in 2 minutes. It contains no glutaraldehyde, phenols, or bleach, is non-abrasive and non-corrosive, and is listed on EPA List N.
