Varibar Honey is a barium sulfate oral suspension formulated at 40% w/v for use in fluoroscopic examinations of the pharynx and esophagus. The honey-thick consistency is designed to evaluate swallowing function in patients requiring a thicker bolus. Each 250 mL bottle is apple flavored to improve patient acceptance.
