Kerr TempBond Temporary Cement is a self-curing zinc oxide eugenol temporary cement supplied in a standard tube pack for hand mixing. Each pack contains one 50 g tube of base, one 15 g tube of accelerator, and a mixing pad; equal lengths of the two pastes are spatulated to a smooth, flowable consistency for trial cementing permanent restorations and cementing temporary crowns, bridges, and splints. The set cement provides a secure, sealing hold that withstands mastication with minimal thermal sensitivity, yet removes easily from the preparation when the temporary is taken off.
