Wiron® Light is a nickel-chromium base metal alloy designed for crowns and bridges with superior casting properties and lighter oxide characteristics. The alloy features a reduced preheating temperature of 800°C for smooth surface finishes, excellent ceramic veneering compatibility with a favorable CTE value of 13.7-14 × 10⁻⁶ K⁻¹, and biocompatible, highly corrosion-resistant properties. Composition includes Ni 64.6%, Cr 22.0%, Mo 10.0%, Si 2.1%, with additional trace elements, offering tensile strength of 860 MPa and yield strength of 460 MPa.
