BBL prepared Hektoen Enteric (HE) agar plates are selective and differential media used for the isolation and differentiation of enteric pathogens, particularly Salmonella and Shigella species. Each plate contains solid agar medium in a standard petri dish format, supplied in a box of 100 plates for laboratory use.
