Aranesp (darbepoetin alfa) is a recombinant erythropoiesis-stimulating agent indicated for the treatment of anemia associated with chronic kidney disease and for anemia in patients with non-myeloid malignancies receiving certain chemotherapy. This product is supplied as a sterile, preservative-free solution in a single-dose prefilled syringe containing 300 mcg of darbepoetin alfa in 0.6 mL. Each syringe is intended for subcutaneous or intravenous administration under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
