Ceramill Sintron is a CoCr sintered metal disc developed with the Fraunhofer IFAM Institut Dresden for fabricating non-precious metal restorations. Its wax-like texture allows effortless dry milling with minimal cutter wear, and the milled framework gains its final material properties through subsequent sintering under an inert gas atmosphere. The material offers homogeneous, distortion-free frameworks with excellent strength, bonding strength, and biocompatibility, and can be finished with conventional CoCr framework ceramics.
